Information you give us

If you send an enquiry through our online form, we ask for your name, phone number, email address, the property postcode, the type of survey you're interested in, the property type (optional) and a description of the problem.

If you call, email or message us on WhatsApp, we receive whatever details you choose to share, such as your name, contact details and information about the property.

How we use it

We use these details to respond to your enquiry, to discuss whether a survey is appropriate and, if you go ahead, to arrange and carry out the survey. We don't sell your details.

We keep enquiry details only for as long as we need them for these purposes. If you'd like us to delete your enquiry, contact us and we'll do so unless we need to keep it for a legal reason.

Other services this website uses

• Online enquiries are stored in a secure cloud database used by this website, which only we can access. They are not visible to other website visitors.
• The site's typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers when you view a page.
• Links to our Google listing and to WhatsApp take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal information, including the right to ask for a copy of it, to have it corrected and, in some circumstances, to have it deleted. To make a request, contact us at timberdampsurveys@gmail.com.
